Emily is a qualified solicitor with extensive experience in group litigation. She qualified in 2016 and has been with Harcus Parker since its inception in 2019.

Legal Expertise

Emily has experience in the area of pay discrimination and is currently acting for several thousand claimants in their claim for equal pay against Tesco. She has been quoted in the national media on equal pay issues.

Emily has also acted for individuals and institutions in a range of financial services matters, including mis-selling claims against financial advisers, claims for fund mismanagement, shareholder claims in the banking sector, and commercial property-related disputes.

Notable past cases include:

• the Lloyds/HBOS shareholder litigation: acting for nearly 6,000 commercial and private shareholders in Lloyds bank against the bank’s directors for losses suffered when Lloyds acquired HBOS in 2009.
• Arch cru litigation: acting for investors in claims against Capita and others following the failure of the Arch cru funds.
