Olivia Selley, an Associate at the firm, and Edward Argles, a Trainee, spoke today at The Transparency Task Force’s seminar entitled ‘The Mortgage Prisoners Scandal; and why it really matters’, alongside other speakers including Kevin Hollinrake MP and Seema Malhotra MP.
Olivia and Edward discussed the Mortgage Prisoner Litigation and what our investigations are telling us about the way in which the mortgage prisoner problem has been created, how the decisions by nationalised lenders and others have resulted in homeowners being trapped paying an excessively high rates of interest, and how the legal case we are bringing is endeavouring to address these problems.
