Jacqueline Young is Chief Operating Officer at Harcus Parker, where she leads the firm’s operational strategy and oversees the delivery of its core business services.

With over 25 years’ experience in media and privacy law and commercial litigation, latterly as Head of Group Litigation at a major firm, followed by five years working as Head of Group Litigation at a well-known funder, Jacqueline brings an unusual blend of legal expertise and commercial acumen to the role. She has played a pivotal role in landmark cases, including equal pay litigation in England and Wales, major vehicle emissions claims across Europe and significant human rights actions. Her broad network includes lawyers, experts, insurers, claims administrators, and marketing professionals.

In her role, Jacqueline is responsible for maximising operational efficiency and embedding best practice across all departments. She works closely with the senior leadership team to implement strategic projects and ensures that the firm’s day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, aligning resources, processes and people to support growth and the delivery of client service.  She also provides practical, strategic, and financial oversight of complex multi-party actions.
