Jake is an Australian qualified lawyer. He joined Harcus Parker as an Associate in 2024. Prior to this, he was part of the CMA’s litigation team and worked on matters including challenges to CMA decisions concerning mergers, market investigations and abuses of dominance by pharmaceutical companies.
In Australia, Jake was the solicitor assisting the Solicitor-General for South Australia where he acted for the State in a broad range of complex and high-profile contentious matters, and worked in the fraud, corruption, and commercial crime team at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Jake studied law at the University of Adelaide and graduated with the University Medal in 2018. He also completed an LLM with Distinction at the LSE in 2020. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia in 2018.
