Dan is a group litigation specialist with over 10 years’ experience handling complex disputes, typically acting for large groups of claimants in financial services claims in the High Court. Dan has primary conduct of the Woodford Litigation.
Called to the bar in 2008, Dan joined Harcus Sinclair (as it then was) in 2012 and cross qualified as a Chartered Fellow of CILEX. Since then, he has assisted in the conduct of a number of large group litigation claims involving third party funding, with a particular emphasis on the management and structural requirements of such cases. He played a significant role in the project management of the Lloyds / HBOS litigation. Dan has also acted on behalf of a number of litigation funders and has a strong track record of securing third party funding and insurance on behalf of claimant groups. He also acts on behalf of individuals and companies in commercial disputes, often including multiple jurisdictions.
