
Rob joined Harcus Parker in 2020 and has been involved as the key senior associate in high-value and hard-fought cases including, more recently, the firm’s student group claim.
Rob qualified in Victoria, Australia in 2009 and spent two years practising there before moving to England and working mainly at a regional and a city firm. He qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2015.

Rob’s experience includes complex and high-profile Commercial Court cases acting for individual parties and significant group litigation, acting for thousands of claimants seeking redress in important claims affecting their legal rights.
Notable cases include:
- Suppipat & Ors. v Narongdej & Ors.: Acting for two defendants in a Commercial Court fraud claim for US$1bn – US$2bn arising out of the sale of a major Thai renewable energy business. The trial was one of The Lawyer’s top 20 cases of 2022 and lasted from October 2022 to March 2023
- Acting for Abdourahman Boreh in connection with an inquiry into damages suffered as a result of the imposition of a freezing order, and in relation to an enforcement of arbitral awards by Mr Boreh’s companies
- David Hamon & Ors. v University College London: Acting for thousands of former UCL students who allege that the university breached its contractual obligations to provide in-person tuition and access to facilities and other services.
