Adam joined Harcus Parker in February 2020 from another leading litigation practice. He has a broad commercial litigation practice with a focus on high-value commercial fraud, complex contractual disputes, insolvency, and banking and finance matters.

Legal Expertise

Adam has played a leading role in several significant and high-profile cases before the Commercial Court. He represents clients in hard-fought, high-value international litigation against well-resourced opponents. He also leads major group actions, including the Whistletree Mortgage Prisoners litigation, pursuing substantial claims against TSB.

Notable cases include:

  • SFO & Ors v Litigation Capital Limited & Ors: Representing a leading litigation funder in one of the largest Commercial Court disputes, involving over 20 parties and assets exceeding £150m across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Suppipat & Ors v Narongdej & Ors: Acting for the primary Defendant in a US$1bn–US$2bn Commercial Court fraud claim arising from the sale of a major Thai renewable energy business (one of Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases of the Year).
  • Harbour Fund III, L.P. v Kazakhstan Kagazy PLC & Ors: Representing a major litigation funder in enforcing a judgment worth over US$300m, involving complex cross-border asset recovery.
  • Republic of Djibouti & Ors v Abdourahman Boreh & Ors: Successfully representing Abdourahman Boreh and his companies in Commercial Court proceedings and related LCIA arbitration for damages exceeding US$125m.
  • The SPhinX Litigation: Advising the Joint Official Liquidators of the SPhinX Group, with assets over US$500m, on complex disputes.

Adam was called to the Bar in 2005 and admitted to the Bar of the Cayman Islands in 2011.
