Jennifer has worked at Harcus Parker since the firm was founded in 2019, having worked with Damon Parker at Harcus Sinclair since 2014.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Jennifer assisted with project managing the litigation department’s group litigation claims and was responsible for managing teams of paralegals. In her role as Legal Operations Director Jennifer continues to oversee the Litigation Managers and paralegal teams.

Legal Expertise

Jennifer is a group litigation specialist with over 10 years’ experience acting for groups of claimants in claims against large corporations. Jennifer’s experience includes financial services litigation, consumer actions and employment law.

Jennifer currently acts for tens of thousands of claimants in a long-running equal pay claim against Tesco, one of the largest private sector equal pay actions in the UK.

Jennifer also has experience in appellate work, particularly in the Privy Council. She acted as assistant Privy Council agent in over 30 appeals and applications for permission to appeal.

Notable cases include:

• Tesco equal pay claim: acting for thousands of Tesco store workers bringing claims in the Employment Tribunal and High Court, including appeals to the Employment Appeal Tribunal and a reference to the CJEU.
• Lloyds/HBOS shareholder litigation: acting for nearly six thousand commercial and private shareholders in Lloyds bank against the bank’s directors for losses suffered when Lloyds acquired HBOS in 2009.
• Arch cru litigation: acting for investors in claims against Capita and others following the failure of the Arch cru funds.
